About Walsingham Planning
Walsingham Planning was established in 1984 by Cliff Walsingham. Since then we have successfully helped hundreds of clients achieve their property development ambitions thanks to our specialist planning advice and support.
Experienced town planners Stephen Brooker and Mark Krassowski bought the company in 2011 and have since expanded the business, taking in additional expertise to broaden our range of specialisms and purchasing Bristol based Ian Jewson Planning in March 2016. Our team now includes 20 fee-earning professionals, representing a wide variety of experience. We also have a network of trusted experts from archaeologists to sustainability consultants who we can bring in to help with complex cases.
Purchasing Ian Jewson Planning has broadened our client base, range of expertise and geographic spread. Ian joins Jonathan Vose (promoted from Principal Consultant to the Board in November 2015) as a new recruit to the Company Board to help drive the Company through our next 30 years.
With offices in Bristol, Buckinghamshire and Cheshire, we’re well located to serve clients throughout mainland UK. We have a strong focus on commercial planning, and most of our clients are businesses, including major hotel, restaurant and coffee shop groups, house builders, breweries, banks, housing, retailers and property developers. We also work for public sector clients, including healthcare organisations and housing associations.
In 2014 we made 403 planning applications (up 19% on 2013) to 158 different Councils across the country (up 36% on 2013) with a success rate of 95% (up from 93% in 2013).
We provide commercial, professional and practical town planning advice with a personal touch from local offices with national reach. We treat our clients’ property development ambitions as if they were our own.
