Emma Turner is a Master of Planning (MPlan) and also holds a BA (Hons) in Town Planning from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne. She is currently working towards her RTPI accreditation with a view to submitting her Assessment of Professional Competence in July 2011.

Emma is involved with the submission of planning applications for a variety of new development proposals as well as securing changes between use classes. She has developed particular expertise in gaining planning permissions on behalf of Costa for their coffee shops. In addition she provides support for her colleagues working on a range of planning projects particularly in the hotel, leisure and retail sectors.

For relaxation Emma likes to garden and loves to grow her own fruit and veg. She is also an experienced snowboarder and following university spent two seasons living and working in a ski chalet in France.
