Mark Krassowski joined the Knutsford office as Director in June 2009. Mark has 20 years experience as a planning consultant, having worked previously for TPC Ltd in London and Glasgow, and for the last 8 years, RPS in Manchester, where he set up and ran a successful planning team.
Mark has a wide experience of planning matters and advises both private and public sector clients on retail, leisure, education, residential and commercial development projects.
Mark specialises in particular in retail and leisure development, including out of centre food stores, retail warehousing, indoor tennis centres and large scale mixed use proposals.
Mark regularly gives evidence at planning inquiries and is experienced in instructing planning Counsel.
Mark has project-managed and successfully promoted the planning case for numerous developments throughout the UK.
This has included devising the planning strategy and coordinating six separate planning applications on behalf of Macclesfield College and Cheshire County Council to create the ‘Macclesfield Learning Zone’, a ground-breaking education development that was opened by HRH Prince Edward in 2008.
Mark also dealt with all planning aspects of a major mixed use development for Sainsbury’s in Maidenhead town centre, involving retail, housing, leisure and offices. Separately in October 2008, he gave evidence at a public inquiry in support of a 450 unit residential scheme without any affordable housing on a heavily contaminated site in Maidenhead, which subsequently led to consent being granted by the Secretary of State.
