Third Party Representations

Third Party RepresentationsWalsingham Planning makes many planning applications for a wide variety of types of development so we are very well qualified to look and make comments on applications made by others.

Clients, from large businesses to individual householders, can be affected by the development proposals made by others. The proposals might be in a planning application or they might be in an emerging Policy document.

Walsingham Planning has therefore acted to represent the interests of clients making comments on development proposals put forward by others. This might be objecting to a neighbours proposed extension or wishing to put houses in their garden through to a large city centre site potentially blighted by proposals on adjoining land, for example from overshadowing, disturbance or shared access.

We might make comments to the local planning authority or to the Planning Inspectorate if a proposal has been refused and an appeal has been submitted. The comments might be in writing or we might appear on behalf of our client to address Planning Committee or an Appeal.

It is always the case that such representations must be relevant to planning and we will be able to advise at an early stage whether or not a proposal might be resisted or whether it may be possible to seek revisions to make it more acceptable.

We can help - just ask us
